Research Bio

Our research aims to understand the neural basis of visual perception  -  i.e., how do neurons in the brain process visual information to allow you to 'see'?   We build computational models of neural networks in the brain with the aim of accounting for perceptual abilities such as object recognition and scene analysis.  We also work together with neurophysiologists to test these models experimentally.
